After the model line change in August 2007 the next generation of Engine Control units for petrol (MED 17) and diesel (EDC17) engines have come onto the market. We are delighted to introduce to you the Katana OBD Flashtool.
Heron Automobiltechnik GmbH realized that these new engine ECU’s would challenge the developers in different ways, and required us to start working directly after this introduction on our new Read/Write tool.
The Heron company, a brief introduction. The founders of Digi-Tech Automobiltechnik GmbH, Michael Pollmueller and Michael Woischnick left Digi-Tec about 3 years ago to form “HERON”. The complete development team and almost all of the Digi-tec dealers made the move to Heron. With 17 years of experience in software modification under our belt we embarked 10 months ago on a journey to develop the Katana flash tool capable of reading and writing the latest MED17, and EDC17 as well as their equivalents from Siemens.
On the next pages we would like to introduce you to our Progamming tool for amongst others MED17 and EDC17.
